Curriculum Guidelines

Aim and Objectives

Our curriculum provides a totality of experiences and the foundation for all- round development and excellence of children. Above all it aims at making children good human beings and constructive citizens.
Our curriculum is designed on the guidelines laid down by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) , New Delhi.
It not only focuses on knowledge and skill development but also on the holistic development of children.

Subjects offered at Grade I-II:
English, Hindi, Marathi, Mathematics, EVS, PT, Computer, Art and Craft, GK, Music, Library .

Subject offered at Grade III-IV:
English, Hindi, Marathi, Mathematics, EVS, PT, Computer, Art and Craft, Computer, Music, Library.

Subjects offered at Grade V:
English, Hindi, Marathi, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science, PT, Computer, Art and Craft, GK, Music, Library.

Subjects offered at VI-VIII:
English, Hindi, Marathi, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Computer, Art and Craft, Music, GK, Library.

Subjects offered at Grade IX –X:
English, Hindi/Sanskrit/Marathi, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, IT, PT, Art, Library.

Beyond Academics:
The school co-curricular programme provides enriching opportunities beyond the classroom to pursue the areas of passion explore creativity and enhance inherent competencies.

The co-curricular programme is a part of our school curriculum. Both academic and co-curricular activities make curriculum complete.

Children are given numerous opportunities to take part in various competitions, contests, activities, programs, etc. These opportunities bring out the hidden talents of children.

Numerous co-curricular activities, as well as community service initiatives facilitate children’s learning on intellectual, physical ,social and emotional levels.

As part of the curriculum, school organizes field trips, picnics, domestic excursions, etc.

Numerous competitions, contests and competitive exams are conducted both at intra and inter school level. The sports, literary and cultural activities at school and interschool level bring out fun, frolic, team building and sportsman’s spirit.

School organizes various workshops, seminars, hands on activities, etc for the development of competencies and skills.

Evaluation:

The evaluation is one of the important components of school curriculum. The evaluation in school consists of both Formative and Summative Assessment. It is continuous and comprehensive.

Formative Assessment (FA)
Formative assessment is a collection of various formal and informal tools used to evaluate the learning outcome of students throughout the term. It is conducted on a continuous basis. All the tools are student friendly. There are four FAs. FA I and II are conducted in Term I and FA III and IV are conducted in Term II for Std I to VIII. PA I and PA II are conducted in Term I for Std IX-X and PA III and PA IV are conducted in Term II. Prelim I and Prelim II are conducted for Std X.

Summative Assessment (SA)
Summative Assessments pen and paper assessments. It is a formal examination conducted at the end of each term.

Pre-Primary Curriculum:
Kids are nurtured to be caring courteous and compassionate towards others. We develop their thinking, observation and communication skills through varied activities.
We emphasize on positive thinking and create an environment for all round development of personality of kids.
We focus on developing qualities of curiosity, exploration and discovery.
We create a fun filled and happy learning environment for kids at our school.
The curriculum of the pre-primary level is full of fun, frolic and learning. We develop our curriculum at the school level.
Our curriculum focuses on cognitive effective and psycho motor domains of kids.
We begin their journey of learning with confidence.
