Seed Bomb Activity Earth Day Celebration
Students' Council Election was conducted on 12th April,25 in M.E.S. Public School.
The annual Students’ Council Election was held on 12th April 2025 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students across grade 5th to 10th . Inspired by the democratic values the election process was a practical application of the principles of democracy.
The Election process started with Nomination and Campaigning of candidates.
Voting took place using a secret ballot system, ensuring confidentiality and fairness.
The Students’ Council Election was not only a celebration of student leadership but also a hands-on experience of the democratic process. It gave students a deeper understanding of electoral politics, as discussed in their Civics textbooks, and reinforced the importance of participation, representation, and accountability in a democracy.
Investiture ceremony was organised on 16th April, 25. The program commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony followed by felicitation of our esteemed guests, Mr. Ayaj Patel, PI (crime branch) and Mr. Sunil Holar, police sub- inspector, Kalamboli police Station.
The elected school council, Head Boy, Head Girl, Asst. Head Girl, Asst. Head Boy, House Captains ,Sports Captain and prefects were conferred with badges , sashes by our respected guests and Principal and teachers . The elected school council members took oath as a promise to deliver their duties sincerely.
The event marked the delegation of responsibilities to the newly elected student council.
The guests guided the students on cyber crime and instructed how it can be prevented.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks.
Poshan Pakhwada
As part of the initiative under the Poshan Abhiyan (National Nutrition Mission), M.E.S. Public school celebrated Poshan Pakhwada from 19th April,2025 to 25th April, 2025. The main objective of this initiative was to raise awareness about the importance of nutrition and to promote health and wellness across the country.
In the view of the above,
Interactive sessions were organised to emphasise the importance of balance, diet, nutrition, and benefits of healthy eating habits, parents and students participated in these interactive sessions enthusiastically.
PTA meetings and SMC meetings were conducted to discuss the importance of providing nutritious meals at home and the role of the family in foster healthy eating habits. The students and the parents were encouraged to eat healthy and traditional food as well as they were motivated to consume local food and avoid eating junk food.
Seed Bomb Activity – Earth Day Celebration 22.04.2025
As a part of the Earth Day celebration, a fun and engaging Seed Bomb Activity was conducted for the students of pre-primary and grade 1 on 22.04.2025 in M.E.S. Public School.
The young learners got hands-on experience of making seed bombs using soil, newspaper and seeds of native plants. Guided by their teachers, the children enthusiastically rolled the mixture into small balls and learned how these can be used to grow plants in open spaces.
This eco-friendly activity developed awareness about Earth Day and the importance of plants in maintaining ecological balance instilling in children a sense of responsibility towards nature and the importance of greenery in our environment.
M.E.S. Public School and Dyanmandir School celebrated Maharashtra Din on 1st May,25.
The celebration started with a lamp lighting ceremony followed by flag hoisting.
Mrs Kalpana Wani , teacher of M.E.S. Public School gave a thought proking speech on this day.
INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
11th International Yoga Day was celebrated in M.E.S Public School, Kalamboli on 21st June 2025. Students of our school were welcomed and briefed about this year's theme, 'YOGA FOR ONE EARTH, ONE HEALTH'. Thougthful speeches were delivered by Anushka Patil from std IX A, Master. Aadit Firodiya and Miss. Sanvi Gorad from std IV B. Students performed various asanas as guided by our PT teachers, Mr. Dnyaneshwar Kank and Ms. Pooja Jagtap. The significance of inculcating Yoga in our daily routine was also highlighted by PT Sir. The students of pre primary, primary, secondary and teachers participated with lot of energy and enthusiasm. The program concluded with the promise to integrate Yoga in our daily lives.
UMBRELLA PAINTING ACTIVITY
Umbrella painting activity was conducted on 02/08/2025 under M.E.S.Kalavardhini. This activity is aimed to encourage creativity and artistic expression among participants, while also promoting a fun and interactive way to explore art.
Students of Std IX participated and showcased their unique styles and techniques, transforming plain umbrellas into vibrant works of art.
August Kranti Din, 8th August 2025.
On the occasion of August Kranti Din (Quit India Movement Day), students from Std V to X were shown a movie highlighting the significance of the historic Quit India Movement initiated by Mahatma Gandhi in 1942.
Students were also given valuable information about the importance of this day, which marks a crucial moment in India’s freedom struggle. The initiative aimed to instill a sense of patriotism and historical awareness among the students.
This activity helped the students connect with freedom fighters and appreciate their contributions for India's Independence.
Online Workshop on Sustainability
An online workshop on E-waste and sustainability was conducted at M.E.S. Public School, Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai on 8th August,25.
This workshop aimed to create awareness about the dangers of E-waste and educate the students about the proper segregation and disposal of the same.
This workshop on "Schools for Sustainability", organized by the Bajaj Foundation in collaboration with UNICEF, Ministry of IT and the Ministry of environment, India, was attended by the students of grades VI to VIII.
Students learnt about the hazardous effects of E-waste, its impact on health and environment and the significance of recycling valuable materials like gold and copper chips used in electronic devices.
The interactive session helped students understand the meaning of E-waste ,its effects and encouraged students to adopt responsible E-waste management practices.
आज दिनांक ८ अगस्त २०२५ को हमारे विद्यालय में रक्षाबंधन उत्सव बड़े उत्साह के साथ मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर छात्रों ने पारंपारिक रक्षाबंधन के साथ-साथ पर्यावरण संरक्षण और सामाजिक समानता का संदेश भी दिया।
इस वर्ष भी हमारी संस्था ने 'संपूर्ण बांबू केंद्र' इस सामाजिक संस्था से राखी निर्माण किट छात्रों को उपलब्ध कराया। विद्यार्थियों ने यह किट खरीदकर इको-फ्रेंडली राखियाँ तैयार कीं। इस उपक्रम से न केवल पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश दिया गया, बल्कि यह भी बताया गया कि त्योहार प्रकृति के अनुकूल तरीके से मनाना चाहिए।
विद्यालय की छात्राओं ने यह बनाई हुई राखियाँ विद्यालय के स्वच्छता कर्मियों को बाँधीं। इसका उद्देश्य सफाई कर्मचारियों के प्रति सम्मान और कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करना था, जो हमारे समाज को स्वच्छ और स्वस्थ रखने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं।
इस अवसर पर सभी विद्यार्थी, शिक्षक एवं अभिभावकों ने मिलकर रक्षाबंधन की प्रतिज्ञा भी ली | इस प्रतिज्ञा में बताया गया कि यह त्योहार केवल भाई-बहन के रिश्ते तक सीमित नहीं, बल्कि यह त्योहार समाज, देश और पर्यावरण की सुरक्षा का संकल्प लेने का त्योहार भी है |

79th Independence Day
A series of creative activities and competitions were conducted in multiple phases at M.E.S. Public School as a part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations.
Phase-I (2th to 8th Aug)
Tricolour Rakhi Making Activity for Std I and II was conducted, in which beautiful tricolour-themed rakhis were prepared.
Tricolour DIY Activity for Std III to V was held, where attractive craft articles were created using decorative materials.
Poster Making Competition for Std VI and VII on the theme 'Respect for Motherland' was organised, in which colourful posters with slogans were designed.
T-shirt Painting Competition for Std VIII on the theme 'Mera Bharat' was conducted, where artistic designs were painted on white T-shirts.
Rangoli Making Competition was conducted for parents, where attractive and illustrative rangolis showcasing patriotism were made.
Students were also motivated to take part in the Quiz on Tiranga organized on the MyGov Quiz platform, thereby enhancing their knowledge about the history, significance, and rules related to the National Flag.
Letter Writing Activity for Soldiers for Std IX and X was held, in which heartfelt messages of gratitude and encouragement were written and sent to the Soldiers.
An awareness activity on the theme “हर घर तिरंगा, हर घर स्वच्छताः स्वतंत्रता का उत्सव, स्वच्छता के संग” was conducted to inspire students to celebrate Independence Day with both patriotism and cleanliness. The initiative highlighted the importance of hoisting the National Flag at every home while maintaining cleanliness in the surroundings.
Phase -II (9th to 12th Aug)
Independence Day Rally was conducted as a part of the celebrations.
Phase -III (13th to 15th Aug)
Students hoisted the National Flag at their homes and capture the moment in a photograph. They were encouraged to upload these pictures on the official website www.harghartiranga.com and also share a selfie with Tiranga.
All these activities and events were organised with the aim of fostering creativity, artistic expression, and patriotic values among students. Through them, creative skills were enhanced, love for the nation was deepened, and the spirit of patriotism was expressed.
Eco-Friendly Ganpati Celebration
On the occasion of Ganesh Festival, a movie based on eco-friendly Ganpati celebration was shown to students by the Environmental Department of Panvel Municipal Corporation on 25/08/2025.
This initiative aims to educate students about the importance of eco-friendly practices during Ganpati celebrations and promote sustainable traditions.
Active participation was seen by the students in the discussion, sharing ideas and suggestions.
The screening was a success, inspiring students to think critically about their actions and their impact on the environment.
A part from this, various activities like eco-friendly Ganpati idol making, making of a short video clip and interviewing five people about impact of festivals on environment were conducted to encourage students to celebrate festivals protecting environment.
Sending Diwali greetings
'Greeting card to Soldiers' , activity was conducted for students of Std VII and VIII on 17th September,25.
This thoughtful activity was initiated by Bharat Vikas Parishad,Panvel branch to enhance festive joy amongst the soldiers.
This aimed to instill a sense of gratitude and patriotism in students, while conveying warm wishes for Diwali to soldiers who safeguard our nation away from their families.
As instructed by CBSE, a special screening of the National Award-winning short film, "Chalo Jeete Hain," was held in M.E.S Public School for students from grades I to X on 23 September, 2025.
The film is based on a childhood story from the life of our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.
It was screened with the objective that children will learn valuable lessons on how to live a life with purpose and importance of having a good philosophy to guide their choices, just like the young boy Naru was inspired by Swami Vivekananda. Most importantly, the film encourages children to believe that even their small actions can make a big difference in the world.
An awareness session titled “Aai Me Mothi Hotey” was organized in M.E.S.Public School, Kalamboli, for the mothers of Classes IV, V and VI.
The session conducted by Mrs. Girija Likhite (PDC Head), Pune, focused on identifying the appropriate age to talk about menstruation and changes in adolescence.
The session further shed light on first menstrual cycle, personal hygiene, healthy diet, physical appearance and understanding emotional changes.
The session guided by Mrs. Girija Likhite was very informative and interactive, benefitting both mothers and daughters in preparing for a healthy and confident transition during adolescence.
Health Check-up Camp
A health check-up camp was organized for the students at M.E.S. Public School, Kalamboli by Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), Panvel in collaboration with Indian Pediatrics Association and MGM hospital on 8th and 9th September,25 .
The main objective of the camp was to create awareness about the importance of maintaining good health and to identify any health-related concerns among students at an early stage.
A team of experienced doctors and medical staff from IPA, MGM , and the volunteers from BVP conducted the check-up. The camp included general physical examination, eye and dental check-ups , audiometry and basic health guidance. The doctors also interacted with the students, giving them valuable advice on healthy eating habits, personal hygiene, and the importance of regular exercise.
Cleanliness Drive under Seva–Swachhata Week
On the occasion of Seva–Swachhata Week, observed between 17th September to 2nd October, a cleanliness drive was organized by the Maharashtra Education Society across all its constituent schools and colleges.
M.E.S. Public School, Kalamboli, the drive was carried out on 1st October, 2025, in the the areas of Kalamboli, Mhasasar Talav and Dainik Bazaar, in which students, eco club members, teachers, sevikas and sanitation workers were actively involved.
Through their participation, awareness about hygiene and the importance of maintaining a clean environment was spread.
The initiative was seen as a reflection of the collective commitment towards social responsibility and environmental sustainability, while values of discipline, cleanliness, and community service were instilled in the students.

SWACCHOTSAV
A cleanliness drive was conducted on 25th September 2025, under the initiative, Swacchata Hi Seva (SHS), 2025 campaign. It is an annual nationwide cleanliness drive observed from 17 September to 2 October, under the theme, 'Swachhotsav'.
This Campaign aims to transform Cleanliness Target Units (CTUs), promote cleanliness in public spaces.
The Students , eco- club members along with sanitation workers of Panvel Municipal Corporation cleaned the Adivasi Village, Roadpali, Kalamboli.
This significant event, Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath, encourages citizens to dedicate one hour to cleanliness to make our environment clean and safe. An oath was taken by the students as a promise to keep the public spaces garbage free.
Field Visit to Raigad Fort
An educational field trip to Raigad Fort was conducted on 13th October 2025, for the students of IX and X. The visit aimed to explore the historical significance, architecture, and geographical features of the fort, while providing students with hands-on learning experiences.
After reaching the fort,
students were guided by the local guides about the Historical Significance , how
Raigad Fort served as the capital of the Maratha Empire under Chhatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj. They also informed students the way fort's architecture and design showcase the Maratha's engineering skills and strategic thinking.
The school field visit to Raigad Fort was an enriching experience that combined learning, adventure, and cultural exposure. Students developed a greater appreciation for India's rich heritage and the Maratha Empire's history
Raigad Fort was an excellent educational trip, offering students a unique blend of history, architecture, and culture.
Special Assembly - Diwali (15.10.2025)
M.E.S. Public School Kalamboli
A special assembly was conducted by the Pre-Primary section on the occasion of Diwali to showcase the significance of the festival. The celebration began with a short skit depicting the story of Lord Ram, his victory over the demon king Ravana, and his return to Ayodhya with Mata Sita and brother Lakshman after 14 years of exile. Through the skit, children beautifully conveyed the message of the triumph of good over evil.
The assembly also highlighted how Diwali is celebrated with great joy by lighting diyas and lamps, decorating homes with rangoli and lanterns, and sharing sweets with loved ones. The school premises was beautifully decorated with eco-friendly rangoli, vibrant lanterns, and glowing diyas, creating a true festive atmosphere.
After the skit, our tiny tots presented a joyful dance performance on the song “Happy Diwali”, which added sparkle and enthusiasm to the celebration. The event truly reflected the spirit of Diwali — spreading happiness, light, and togetherness.
"Exhibition cum Sale - By the Parents for the Parents and the Staff." (16.10.2025)
M.E.S. Public School, Kalamboli.
An “Exhibition cum Sale – By the Parents for the Parents and the Staff” was organised during the Open House. The event was inaugurated by our Principal Ma’am, she encouraged the parents to continue showcasing their creativity and entrepreneurial skills.
The idea behind the event was to invite parents who run their own businesses to exhibit and sell their products. It served as a wonderful platform to promote community bonding and provide better business opportunities to parents within the school community.
Various stalls were put up, including ready-made clothing, artificial jewellery, cosmetics, rangoli and decoration materials, household items, LIC agent services, ladies’ tailoring, and delicious food stalls offering sweets and namkeen.
The response from both parents and teachers was overwhelming. The event received great appreciation and enthusiasm, making it a memorable and successful experience for everyone involved.
Additionally, model-making projects created by our students for the KLE Integrasphere Fest were displayed. The students confidently explained their innovative models, which added an educational and inspiring touch to the exhibition.

Counselling session and Guidance Lecture for IX and X
A counselling session on Sexuality was conducted for the students of Std. IX at M.E.S. Public School, Kalamboli on 11th November 2025 by M.E.S. Personality Development Centre (PDC). The session was facilitated by Ms. Surekha Nande, speaker and lecturer of M.E.S. Personality Development Centre and Mr. Sunil More, Guest lecturer of M.E.S.. Awareness regarding the physical, emotional, and social aspects of adolescence was created. Emphasis was laid on self-awareness, respect, and responsible behaviour. The importance of self-care and maintaining healthy boundaries was highlighted. The session was found to be insightful and meaningful.
An online aptitude test based on ability, interest, and study habits was conducted on 19th August 2025 for the students of Std. X. The report was shared with the parents and the students on 11th November 2025. Guidance was provided by the counsellors of M.E.S. Personality Development Centre, Ms. Shubha Kulkarni and Ms. Shilpa Toro. Career counselling was also conducted for the students. The session was found to be informative and beneficial for the students.
A Guidance Lecture for teachers
A guidance lecture on Learning Disability was conducted by Mrs. Shubha Kulkarni, Career Counsellor and Trainer, for the teachers on 11th November ,25 in M.E.S. Public School, Kalamboli. The causes, types, and signs of learning disabilities were explained, and strategies for effective classroom support were shared. The importance of early identification and a compassionate teaching approach was emphasized. The session was found to be highly informative and enriching, as greater awareness and empathy towards learners with special needs were developed among teachers.
Report on Children’s Day Celebration
Children’s Day was celebrated on 14th November 2025 with great joy and enthusiasm at M.E.S. Public School, Kalamboli. The day commenced by honouring Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
The assembly was conducted by the teachers, and the significance of the day along with warm wishes was conveyed to the students.
A humourous and thought provoking skit was presented by the teachers, through which the importance of discipline and civic sense was highlighted.
An energetic aerobics session was organised, and enthusiastic participation was shown by the students as the rhythmic movements were performed.
Fruits were distributed to all the students adding to the joy of celebration.
A vibrant and cheerful atmosphere was created throughout the programme.

(Outside School Wall painting) The activity of combining art with awareness, to make a valuable learning experience for all involved was conducted by M.E.S. Public School Kalamboli. (10.11.2025 - 15.11.2025)
Under the guidance of our respected Principal Ma’am and Art Teacher, Mr. Jayesh Salvi, a team of enthusiastic teachers and students took the initiative to paint the outside walls of the school. The main objective was to beautify the surroundings and convey meaningful social messages to the community.
The themes chosen for the wall paintings included school life, cleanliness, moral values, conservation of water and electricity, patriotism, and civic sense. Each wall was creatively designed with colourful illustrations and inspiring messages that reflected these important ideas.
This initiative not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the school but also spread awareness among the people in the neighbourhood. The artwork was highly appreciated by parents and all passers-by for its creativity and powerful social messages.
Through this activity a message to take pride in contributing to the beautification of their school and community was given.

“Let’s Learn, Laugh & Play — The Parent Way!”
An initiative by M.E.S. Public School, Kalamboli
Date: 14.11.2025
M.E.S. Public School, Kalamboli invited parents of pre-primary section to spend a memorable day in school with their children and conduct interesting activities. Parents wholeheartedly participated and engaged students through a variety of fun-filled sessions such as fun games, story telling, rhyme time, drawing and colouring.
A special Taekwondo session was also organised to create awareness among students about good touch, bad touch, and basic self-defence.
As a token of appreciation, the school presented each parent with a thank-you card and seed pencils.
Parents thoroughly enjoyed spending time in school with their children and appreciated this thoughtful initiative.
This collaborative effort will certainly help in strengthening the bond between parents, teachers, and the school, creating a positive and supportive learning environment for our children.
165th Foundation Day
165th Foundation Day was celebrated on 19th November 2025 in M.E.S. Public School, Kalamboli.
The celebration commenced with Pratima Pujan, marking a respectful tribute to the institution’s rich legacy.
Mst. Adith Abhilash, a student of Std. VI, and Mrs. Chakshini Bopache, PRT, delivered speeches on the history and achievements of the Maharashtra Education Society (M.E.S.), highlighting its remarkable journey in the field of education.
A documentary on M.E.S. was also shown to all the teachers, providing insights into the institution’s vision, milestones, and contributions.
This fostered pride and strengthened connection with the institution’s heritage.
CBSE Training Session*
A CBSE training session was conducted on 22nd November 2025 on the topic “Educating Parents About Education.” The session aimed at enhancing teachers’ understanding of effective ways to involve parents in the educational process and to strengthen the home–school partnership.
The training was facilitated by two esteemed resource persons — Ms. Kalpana Dwivedi, Principal of Bal Bharti Public School, Kharghar, and Mr. Prashant Muley, Principal of J.M. Rathi English School and Junior College, Raigad.
The key points of the session included strategies for creating awareness among parents about curriculum, Paradigm Shift in Education, Forms of Assessment,the role of positive parental engagement in student development and Career Counselling and career Opportunities. Various practical examples and case studies were also shared to help teachers implement these practices effectively.
In addition, the session shed light on the major reforms introduced under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the key recommendations of the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023. Teachers were guided on how to clearly communicate these reforms to parents, especially the shift towards competency-based learning, holistic development, flexibility in subject choices, and integration of vocational and skill-based education from early grades.
Overall, the session proved to be informative and enriching, providing valuable insights to the teachers for improving parent-teacher collaboration.
संविधान दिवस
एम.ई.एस. पब्लिक स्कूलमध्ये २६/११/२०२५ रोजी 'संविधान दिन' मोठ्या उत्साहात साजरा करण्यात आला.
या दिवसाचा प्रमुख उद्देश विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये संविधानाबद्दल जागरूकता निर्माण करणे, त्यातील मूल्यांचे दैनंदिन जीवनात पालन करणे आणि जबाबदार नागरिक म्हणून आपल्या भूमिकेची जाणीव करून देणे हा होता.
परिपाठाच्या वेळी डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या प्रतिमेचे पूजन करण्यात आले. एका विद्यार्थिनीने संविधान दिनाचे महत्त्व सांगितले.
या विशेष दिनानिमित्त शाळेमध्ये विविध उपक्रमांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. त्यामध्ये ‘प्रश्नमंजुषा स्पर्धा’ आणि ‘मानवी साखळी निर्मिती’ हे उपक्रम राबविण्यात आले. प्रश्नमंजुषा स्पर्धा इयत्ता दहावीच्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी घेण्यात आली, ज्यामध्ये संविधानावर आधारित प्रश्न विचारण्यात आले.‘मानवी साखळी निर्मिती’ या उपक्रमाअंतर्गत शाळेच्या प्रांगणात विद्यार्थ्यांची साखळी तयार करण्यात आली व संविधानाच्या प्रस्ताविकेचे वाचन करण्यात आले. या उपक्रमातून सामाजिक ऐक्याचा संदेश प्रभावीपणे पोहोचवण्यात आला. अश्या विविध उपक्रमांमुळे विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये नागरिकत्वाची जाण, जबाबदारीची भावना, सहकार्याची वृत्ती, सामाजिक संवेदनशीलता आणि लोकशाही मूल्ये अधिक दृढ झाली.
CBSE Skill Expo and Guidance Festival 2025
We are proud to share that the project “Hydroponic Farming” from M.E.S. Public School was shortlisted for the CBSE Skill Expo and Guidance Festival 2025 organised by the Regional Office, Pune, at Indo Scots Global School, Kamothe on 26th Nov. The model was presented by Mst. Dhruv Deshmukh (Std. X) and Ms. Aaradhya Suroshi (Std. VIII). The process and advantages of soil-less farming, along with its significance in sustainable agriculture, were explained. Appreciation was expressed by the audience for their presentation.
As a part of the Guidance Festival, expert sessions on Career Guidance were attended by students of std. VIII and IX. The sessions were conducted by the following dignitaries; Chief Guest, Dr. Biswajit Saha, Professor and Director, Skill Education,Guests of Honour Mr. Satish Pahal, Joint Director, Skill Education, New Delhi and Mr. R. P. Singh, Additional Director, Skill Education, along with other respectable dignitaries.
Valuable insights into career planning, future skill requirements, and academic pathways were provided during the sessions.
The event was experienced as a meaningful learning opportunity, through which exposure to innovative projects and essential career guidance was received by the participating students.
Report on “Mini Animal World on Stage” – Pre-Primary Fancy Dress Activity
Date: 28th November 2025
Venue: M.E.S. Public School Kalamboli
The Pre-Primary section conducted the Animal Theme Fancy Dress Activity on 28th November 2025 as a part of the ongoing classroom learning on the topic Animals. The activity provided the young learners with an engaging platform to showcase their understanding of different animals—domestic, wild, pet, and water animals.
Children enthusiastically dressed up as their chosen animals and confidently spoke a few lines describing their characteristics, habitat, food habits, and sounds. This not only helped reinforce the concepts taught in class but also boosted their self-confidence and oral communication skills.
The event turned the stage into a “Mini Animal World,” filled with colour, creativity, and joyful participation. Overall, the activity was a fun-filled and educational experience that strengthened the children’s learning and supported their holistic development.
A study skill workshop
A study skill workshop was conducted in MES Public school on 1 Dec 2025 for the 8th standard students. The resources person was Mrs Surakha Nande and Smita Lokre ( from MES PDC).
In this session, various study techniques, goal setting, planning were explained . They also gave some time to students understand how to use these techniques in their daily study routine. Students practiced the techniques during the session.
After that, students were given homework:

#Prepare an Eisenhower Matrix.
#Observe your previous timetable and create a new timetable using the Eisenhower Matrix.
Smart Parenting workshop
A smart parenting workshop was conducted in MES Public School, on 1/12/25, for the parents of std VIII -X . Resource person was Mrs Shubha Kulkarni (MES PDC)
In this workshop, she guided parents on how to understand and deal with their children. She asked parents about the common problems they face while raising children of this age group. She explained the four developmental levels—physical, emotional, mental, and social. She highlighted that children go through various changes at each level, and if parents help and guide them appropriately, they will grow well. The most important message she emphasized was: “Be a friend, not a controller.”She also discussed the do’s and don’ts for parents. In the don’ts, she explained the concept of giving “दूध, तूप, शिरा, मासा” . In the do’s, she encouraged parents to give love and respect, be a friend, provide a healthy environment, focus on proper diet and hygiene, encourage exercise, and keep themselves updated.
The parents appreciated the initiative taken by the school and PDC.
Makerthon 7.0
The students of M.E.S. Public School, Kalamboli participated in Makerthon 7.0, arranged by Pillai University, New Panvel, on 9th December 2026.
A total of 12 students participated in the Science, Technology, and Design categories.
Excellent team collaboration and creative ideas were exhibited throughout the event. A problem statement on “Desalination Working Model” and "A Tall Floater" were given to the students. Solution models were conceptualized and prepared by them using the materials that were provided at the venue.
A great learning experience was gained, and valuable exposure to innovation and design thinking was received by all participants.
Participation certificates were awarded to all the students.
भारतीय भाषा उत्सव 2025
एम.ई.एस. पब्लिक स्कूल, कलंबोली के प्री-प्राइमरी विभाग द्वारा 12 दिसंबर 2025 को “भारतीय भाषा उत्सव” का आयोजन “अनेक भाषाएँ, एक भावना” (Many Languages, One Emotion) की थीम पर उत्साहपूर्वक किया गया।
इस अवसर पर विद्यार्थियों को विभिन्न भाषाओं में कविताएँ प्रस्तुत करने का अवसर दिया गया, जिससे हमारे देश की समृद्ध भाषाई विविधता का सुंदर प्रदर्शन हुआ। सभी नन्हे-मुन्ने बच्चों ने पूरे जोश और उत्साह के साथ भाग लिया।
बच्चों ने आत्मविश्वास के साथ भाव-भंगिमाओं और क्रियाओं के माध्यम से कविताओं का पाठ किया, जिससे उनकी भावनाएँ प्रभावशाली ढंग से अभिव्यक्त हुईं। इस गतिविधि को विद्यार्थियों की ओर से अत्यंत सराहनीय प्रतिक्रिया मिली और मंच पर प्रस्तुति देने से उनमें आत्मविश्वास भी बढ़ा।
यह आयोजन वास्तव में “एकता में विविधता” की भावना को दर्शाता है तथा विद्यार्थियों में सभी भाषाओं के प्रति समान सम्मान और प्रेम की भावना विकसित करने में सहायक रहा।
